I’ve just got back from seeing Sum 41 at Rock City. It was the first time I’ve seen them, and it was good fun. Great to photograph – plenty of moving around on stage, nice crowd interaction. It’s great when you have to work and actually employ your brain to get decent shots of a band, rather than sitting there pointing the camera at someone who’s basically motionless for the whole set.
I certainly wasn’t the only one enjoying it; the whole crowd were loving it – in much the same way as Reel Big Fish, this was overall a fun gig. Hoorah.
