We stayed at an old railway station in Lochearnhead, that&#8217;s now owned and run by Hertfordshire Scouts. A little bit of rain first thing wasn&#8217;t enough to cause any major problems, and a thoroughly nice day was had by all (well, nearly all!). Perhaps the pace helped, but I wasn&#8217;t feeling particuarly knackered at the end of the day, which was nice. It hit me when we got to the nice warm pub though&#8230;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_225\" style=\"width: 536px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-225\" class=\"size-full wp-image-225\" title=\"The group atop Ben Vorlich (Copyright Haydn Williams 2008)\" src=\"http:\/\/www.haydnwilliams.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/019990.jpg\" alt=\"The group atop Ben Vorlich (Copyright Haydn Williams 2008)\" width=\"500\" height=\"249\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-225\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The group atop Ben Vorlich<\/p><\/div>\n<p>On Sunday we stayed a bit closer to Loch Earn and went over Ben Vorlich and Stuc a Chroin, which again proved a nice day with even a hint of steepness thrown in for good measure. Possibly more importantly, MPS turned out to be full of thoroughly nice people, and I tripled my Munro count &#8211; that&#8217;s right, I&#8217;m at the heady heights of six now!
