{"id":1419,"date":"2011-06-13T07:37:56","date_gmt":"2011-06-13T06:37:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.haydnwilliams.com\/blog\/?p=1419"},"modified":"2022-04-11T21:44:15","modified_gmt":"2022-04-11T20:44:15","slug":"the-slackers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.haydnwilliams.com\/blog\/the-slackers\/","title":{"rendered":"The Slackers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I went to my first gig for nearly eighteen months last week, and as usual the Slackers put on an a show which was truly a pleasure to watch.<\/p>\n<p>The great thing about the Slackers is that they&#8217;re obviously musicians rather than just people who play instruments. Much as I love punk rock, I&#8217;m not convinced the majority of people playing in the genre could be called truly skilled craftsmen. Copyright Haydn Williams 2011<\/p><\/div>\n<p>It was also the first time I&#8217;ve taken a camera to a gig for a very long time, and it was good to get back into the swing of things.
