They&#8217;ve been around for a while now, but not only did they play a very competent set, they had some of the best stage banter I&#8217;ve heard in a long while. Good work.<br \/>\n<div id=\"attachment_210\" style=\"width: 343px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-210\" src=\"http:\/\/www.haydnwilliams.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/2008-12-11_randomhand.jpg\" alt=\"Random Hand.\" title=\"Random Hand.\" width=\"333\" height=\"500\" class=\"size-full wp-image-210\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-210\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Random Hand.<\/p><\/div><br \/>\nStreetlight Manifesto were as good as expected, and it was nice to see them somewhere a bit smaller than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.haydnwilliams.com\/blog\/?p=18\">Rock City<\/a> (the Charlotte). I think <em>Point\/Counterpoint<\/em> was the highlight for me; having to leave early to catch the last train home wasn&#8217;t.  :(  On the plus side, it was the best attendance I&#8217;ve seen at the Charlotte, or indeed any smaller gig, for a long time. Well done Leicester for turning out in force &#8211; it only people can keep it up! The crowd were so enthusiastic, in fact, that it was nigh-on impossible to get any decent shots.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wow, Random Hand impressed me.
