Jamie, G and I went up to Birchen, a favourite location of ours, and had a bit of a play around. I&#8217;ll confess we barely took any photos so you&#8217;ll have to make do with this lovely nut placement G found on either <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukclimbing.com\/logbook\/c.php?i=52371\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heave Ho <\/a>(S 4a)\u00a0or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukclimbing.com\/logbook\/c.php?i=11258\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sailor&#8217;s Crack<\/a> (S 4a).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_925\" style=\"width: 760px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-925\" class=\"size-full wp-image-925\" title=\"I appreciate this perhaps isn't up to the standard of photography expected of this blog, but it was a *very* nice placement.\" src=\"http:\/\/www.haydnwilliams.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/CIMG1552.jpg\" alt=\"I appreciate this perhaps isn't up to the standard of photography expected of this blog, but it was a *very* nice placement.\" width=\"750\" height=\"445\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.haydnwilliams.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/CIMG1552.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.haydnwilliams.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/CIMG1552-300x178.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-925\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">I appreciate this perhaps isn&#39;t up to the standard of photography expected of this blog, but it was a *very* nice placement.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>We climbed reasonably efficiently compared to our usual antics, and despite my initial misgivings whilst floundering up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukclimbing.com\/logbook\/c.php?i=11255\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trafalgar Crack<\/a> (VDiff 4a), I later led <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukclimbing.com\/logbook\/c.php?i=11259\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sailor&#8217;s Problem<\/a> (VDiff) without any issues, wobbles or hissy fits.
