I sometimes question whether it’s worth the effort of getting out, but days like this are an amazing reminder of why all the hassle is definitely worthwhile.

There’s never a bad day for navigation practice, particularly if it’s cloudy on Kinder Scout and you’re not the one doing the navigation.
The logical thing to do seemed to be to venture into the teeth of the gale to take some photos.
